Pookie,

Try Ramore Head, ain't fished it myself for a while but Big Phil and some others fished it a few weeks back and it fished OK. He put a report up about it. Good luck with your quest for some fish.

Get yorself a pound of rag and head down to bangor for some wrasse ,the north pier(one with rnli station) is still producing fish to 3lb right in close ,plenty of fish 1 1/2lb region in the boulders on the back of the pier .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

I've never caught a Wrasse and never knowingly fished for them either.

I assume the idea would be to float fish close to the rocks?

yeah, ramore still fishing well apparently, a comp was won on it at the weekend with 24 counting size fish, be careful on it though, it can be dangerous in dodgy conditions
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
