fished a club competition on sunday, high tide at around 2p.m. lots of dabs and dogs taken. the were 3-4 good sized plaice taken <35cm. it was my first time fishing this venue and i got good a really good impression it would fish better at night, has any one fished here recently at night, if so can you reply and tell us the species you encountered.

five mile can be good fishing into the dark expect a lot of dggies they will take almost any bait , fish here around mid june in the past couple of years there have been a lot of speciem smoothounds taken but you need peeler crab and king rag for bait. close in fishing you can get some good plaice , and at the moment there seems to be an infestation of small dabs every where along the east coast.[/quote]
