Jumped on board the brothers boat for the Mountcharles SAC small boats comp. Fine morning for shorts and tee shirt but paid dearly later when it drunk from the heavens
Moved around a couple of marks before we came across any amount of pollock, small fish at first but as the tide neared high water the bigger fish started to show. Pouting, wrasse and a solitary conger also came aboard. Finished up with 12 pollock and a wrasse which was enough for 2nd overall, event was won by 12 year old girl with 18 pollock. All in all it was a fun day out.

Got to hand it to the girl...she just couldn't stop catching pollock..was on the same boat. She even took a break in the wheelhouse every wee while and still managed to whoop us all
