Duration:8.30pm to 11pm

Tide:High tide approx midnight

Weather:Beautiful, tide like glass

Bait:Rag, Lug, Squid, Mackerel

Rigs:Loop rig, 3 hook flapper

Results:9 coalies, 4 Doggies, 2 Codling, 1 Whiting and a Dab


Report:Very enjoyable evening, best Coalie 33cm. Codling to Lugwrm baits, Dogs at range during daylight.

This is the best this venue has fished for me in long time.





Bring insect repellent if you intend to fish here around dusk :shock:

sounded like a good nite was tempted myself but ended up at browns bay walked way round and worked it with a fly 4 pollock but a real enjoyable nite,did u catch site of any fish jumping around the mouth of the river at glenarm i didnt know werether they were salmon or sea trout but they looked nice fish

Hi Islandrockhopper, I didn't go over as far as the estuary - I was fishing the beach in front of the police station so I would be guessing.
