People:Me

Duration:7,45 to 10pm

Tide:10pm

Weather:overcast with sunny spells, nice breeze

Bait:sandeel, crab, mackie

Rigs:clip down

Results:3 Lsd and 1 Mackie

Report:Bit of a tramp to the standing stone mark, but well worth it. 1 rod out with frozen mack and not even touched, switched to fresh mack and lost 1 fish, but no other bites with it. 2nd rod done well, with 1 mack on the first cast with sandeel as soon as it hit the water. Next cast a lsd hit it after 2 mins, then again after 10 mins, and last one about 15 mins before hometime. Would have stayed longer but dont like to be there in the dark on my own for safety reasons. The sandeel done well taking all the fish.

Thanks Drew, It looked good for spinning, seem splenty of depth, but had no gear with me as i tried not to cart to much , so could only bottom fish. Was also trying to avoid the mackies. would there be many there?
I have a freezer full for the winter and dont want any more. What about wrasse?. sounds sad but i have never caught one. Thanks

Yeah, I've had a Few Ballans off it, up to about 1lb, There's the Odd Mack Knocks about it, but nothing serious.
