Rubbish again!!!!!

#1 Post by shockleader50 »

Took my 10 year old daughter to Glenarife forest park today and on the way back decided to go by the coast road just to see if anyone was fishing. As we drove by the ledges i could'nt believe the mess of the place.Someone had tied four bags of rubbish to the wire fence and there was all sorts of crap lying around too. Some Idiot has obviously taken time to pack these bags and then tied them to the fence???? Would it not have been easier just to throw them in the boot of the car and take them home? I hate fishing in someone else's mess so i think i'll stick to the marks that are well off the beaten track.Too hard for these morons to get to.Rant over lads.Thanks.

Man I am sick of giving off about this.

Unfortunately there are too many empty heads about the place.

This type of carry-on is discouraging me from fishing my usual marks this summer.

I'm just getting back into the sport after about 10 years off. Took a walk around balscadden last week. The place was an absolute disgrace. Hundreds of feather packets, beer cans, wine bottles, balls of mono and a fierce bang of p*ss all over the place. I remember the place being a regular haunt for scummers but i don't remember them leaving places in as bad a state as this. My missus was with me (French lady) and was pretty horrified by the scene. Not a good image for the sport at all. Is it like this at all popular marks around the country? A shame for the sport as i know serious anglers tend to stay away from marks such as these yet it is in full few of the general public.
