tope in wicklow

fished kilcoole on sunday night for tope and the bait wasnt even touched am i fishing the right place for them. if any body has takin a tope from the shore in wicklow please reply i need some help on shore marks and tides. thanks lar.

fished there a couple of times myself for tope but never caught one. there does be tope der alright but i think they show up from around sept on. my mate hooked into a suspected tope there a couple of years ago as his rod got pulled into the water and when he fished the rod back with the aid of my rod his hook line was just cut.

They are there alright try the first hour of the flood and fresh bait only, try the Big try or breaches point for them 8)
