went to redbay on sat morning. high tide at 230pm. fished 2 5pm. not many down and the sun blastin, hardly a breeze most of the day. using 2 rods. 1 using a sliding rig, the other with a 2 hook paternoster. rag and mackeral coctail the order of the day. 11 plaice, a flounder and a dab. half a dozen plaice bout a pound the rest palm size.. good sport! on the way home we stopped at garron point 2 finish the bait. floatfished rag. 1 pouting, 2 wrasse, 1 coalie and a pollock. cracking day and a suntan threw in 2. result

nice one ghosty, read ur other report sounds like the same wasters with the conger.

hi belfast lep..it was the same fellas after the congers. they had the chest waders and hurly bat in the van!! felt abit bad cause it was me who supplied them with the mackeral. if i had of known what they were at they wud of had no chance of getting it.
