Donabate Beach?

Lads,

Donabate beach....anybody fished it? Any reports?
This is the beach past and to the right of the Waterside Hotel (formerly: Dunes Hotel). Its a very clean beach, but seems a bit on the shallow side.
Kieran has a Shore Mark down for Donabate, but I think its Portrane its refering to.

Wes there is good bass fishing here below the martello tower (from the rocks), rising tide in summer/ autumn- ragworm the bait with plugging potential. needs a surf. saw a fello land an 8 pounder here before when i was a kid. the guy was in shock!

Do a search on here, I think there was a thread before about the beach where a young lad caught a 4lbs turbot on his first time fishing.
