Wexford - 1st July 2006

#1 Post by John D »

People:Me (John D), Greg and Graham

Duration:10:00 am until 03:00 am the next morning

Tide:High at approximately 13:00 and 01:00 am

Weather:Very strong south east breeze until later on when it got very calm. Sun was out all day.

Bait:Fresh rag, fresh lug and fresh crab (peeler and softback)

Rigs:1 hook (size 4/0) running ledger and later on used 3 hook flappers. Various lures.

Results:1 bass, 1 mackerel (on dexter wedge) and 3 dogfish

Report:Greg and I blanked. Graham caught all the fish. The bass was 1lb (and that's being generous!). The dogs were dogs and the mackerel was less than 1lb. We fished a number of different marks in the Northern half of Wexford.
