Thats the one
One word of warning though when fishing this mark, if using beachcasters it is difficult to get a good footing so it is normal to cast from the road if going for distance.
My friend and I were nearly wiped out by a squad of bikers, just jeep an eye out.

Even a bad days fishing is better than working.

no mate, your thinking of the wee pier beside the quarry at the rock formations on the roadside which resemble an old man and woman the ledges are about mile after this ,you come round a bend at the closest head land to the salmon nets in red bay then you will see a pier with the middle section collapsed into the water THERE IS NO HOUSE NEARBY fish from large lime stone rock up to the head towards the nets
you can also fish from the mark at the quarry but it;s all dirty ground and not as good or deep a mark as the one i have described

went up the coast y/day after work for a few hours. left all the gear in the house apart from a box of lures and a spinning rod. was goin 2 try my luck at garron point but it was packed. so went on up 2 the ledge further up the road. tide about an hour down and not enough depth for spinning. as a last shot we tryed the rocks at the quarry just up from the broken harbour. there was a few fellas there already using bait. the doggies were flatout! only got 1 wee coalie on the spinner. never fished this mark but reckon on another day it cud a good spot. when we were leaving the tide was well down but it was still pretty deep. will def try there again using bait.

not far mate, about 60-70yds , on a bright calm day you can see the blue were it meets the dark of the weed ,met a guy scuba diving here one day who said that just after the weed it drops of to 40ft deep
i have never lost much gear here, maybe one trace every third or fourth trip, if you fish too close to the pier or towards the head land the weed goes out further, 18lb line minimim and a fixed spool or fast multiplier such as a penn 525 mag a must not a mark for an abu or 7ht cause if you hook a decent fish you wont be able to keep it up out of the weed on the way in up over the drop of were the sand meets the weed and will either snag up or drag the fish of bumping it of the bottom
