Howth (various)

#1 Post by Wes »

People: Sat: me/brother Sun: me/gf's uncle

Duration: Sat: 12pm-4pm Sun: 11am-2pm

Tide:

Weather: Hazy rain on Sat. Sunny but windy on Sun.

Bait: Sat: Rag (only had 20 in case we decided to bait up). Sun: Hokai

Rigs: Hokai

Results: Sat: 25 Macks between us. Sun: Weed

Report:
Nasty day on Sat, started drizzling down so damped our spirits slightly. Baited up one rod and left it out, then we both got the Hokai's out. Nothing for about an hour, then we noticed the amount of sprat at our feet was amazing. Thats when the lines started to bounce and the macks were taken.

Sunday was bad, lot of wind and weed. Nothing to tell apart from that.

10 days off and I got out twice, better than nowt.
