Been using these on my Rigs for quite some time now, Easy to use with a Simple yet unbeatable release system these babies can be used in various rigs and are fool proof. I've been using them in conjunction with SRTs and have found them to be a sure fire way to keep rigs streamlined for casting. I'd have to give them a 10/10 for use on Clean to Mixed Ground Rigs!

dont like them at all! especially on the beaches, the sand clogs them up too easily, all it takes is one grain of sand at the hole at the top of the plastic tube which the line slides through to stop the tube sliding up on impact
firstly id use an impact leads, second, an impact shield, have the imps but havent tried them yet
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

Im not a huge fan of the Big Impact Shields anymore... I just think they seem too bulky...

I'm with Drew on this one, I think the ABCs are a great bit of kit, I have yet to see one fail and I fish mostly clean sandy beaches. I make my own leads so dont use the impact. The shield is also good but I find the rubber that comes with it is too loose.
