saltwater fixed spool

can anyone reccommend a good fixed reel for heavy saltwater use from the shore and the boat mainly for a spinning rod.thanks

Hi Marty have a look at the Penn Spinfisher range good tough reel and can take bit of abuse. Bit hard to find some of the original American made ones but think Veals still has the 5500ss.

You could try [url=http://www.advantaltd.com]Advanta[/url] though not sure what price these guys charge or if they have them in stock.

Or if ya fancy splashing the cash look at the Daiwa Saltigas, Shimano Stellas, Accurate Twin Spin or the Van Staal range of spinning reels :shock: :D
