Lads, I know this is a sea angling website and 99% of my fishing is from the boat or shore but this friday i am heading to up to lough sheelin.
Any tips or advice?

Sheelin :cry: Not normally good at this time of year. The fish are normally on the fry at this time. If it's calm you might get a early morning rise.

Seeing them round up fry and ploughing through them can be worth the trip alone.

There are plenty of sedge around at this time. If you get into the calm water behind some of the islands you might come accross a few fish rising to the sedge.

It can be very tough at this time of year.
