i caught a few pollock not big never try it at night .

ive caught a few small ish pollock upto about 1.5lbs on spun jellyworm in daylight.

there are small wrasse and wee scorpion fish down the rock faces if you get bored lol

had mackrel off here last summer as well to your average shinny lure works for pollock too
species so far 2007 (18....)
Conger, Codling, Coalfish, Shore Rockling, Dab, Flounder, Dogfish, 3 beard rocking, Pollack, Whiting, Pouting, Red cod, Poor Cod, Tadpole fish, Short and Long splined sea sculpin, TopKnot, Cukcoo Ray,

Targets: fish over 10lb, eel over 20lb (came VERY close almost :( )

last year around this time there was some really good pollock caught at low tide and the biggest no word of a lie was 8lb all caught on hokkai's
2010 species list: coalies, flounder, whiting, pollock, cod, doggie, sea trout, pouting, poor cod, short spined sea scorpion, long spined sea scorpion, 3 breaded rockling, shore rockling, 5 breaded rockling, tompot blenny, mackie, placie, dab, bullhuss, conger, ballan wrasse, corkwing wrasse, goldshinny wrasse,thronie, lesser weaver, bass, tub gurnard, red gurnard, grey gurnard, shanny, rock goby, turbot,

CONGER COUNTER: 42
BEST CONGER : 32LB 1OZ

cheers lads heading down tomorrow morning, was going to try painted rocks browns bay. and a mate that is from islandmagee going to show me a wee spot he knows??
