Method : Spinning for the first hour til 10, peeler crab til about 12 o'clock
Results : Blank :(
I had one "nibble" on the crab. Probably a fish too small to get its mouth around the bait..! Very strong run from left to right. Never fished the beach before. Looks like it has potential.
Resisted the temptation to fish close being out of bass season so fished a single clipped down 6/0 at distance.
Good to see Fisheries officers on the beach. Didnt realise you needed at license for sea trout even in the sea :oops: but to be fair I didnt really know it was an area sea trout are caught in.
Still better than sitting in watching TV on a night like that.

Where about were you fishing?,down by the stream/driving range or up the town end?,have they shortened the beach down towards the stream by the way?,haven't been out there in a few weeks but read something about that on here last week?
