Glenarm Breakwater 6/6/6

People:me and stuart langridge

Duration: 7pm to 12:15am

Tide:goin out

Weather:belter of a day

Bait:smelly rag, mack, sandeel and lug worm

Rigs:3 hook clipped, float gear and conger traces

Results:6 doggies, 1 pollock, 2 coalies, 3 bread rockling, 2 ballan wrasse, 1 cockwing wrasse,1 plaice, 1 pouting and 1 conger oh and a sea trout


Report:belter day for fishin...my first cast produced a double dog at distance followed by 2 more doggies then a sea trout all fell to sandeel and mac. fished in the harbour and picked up wrasse, coalies and pouting all on rag worm on a 3 hook flapper....Stuarty had 2 doggies and a small strap conger of 5lb just before we decided to wrap it up for the nite but before hand he had wrasse,pollock, plaice and a rockling all close in to the breakwater oh and he lost another BIG conger...i wonder how he does it :lol: :lol:

HEY DREW IT WAS INDEED A GREAT SESSION CONSIDERING THE BAIT WAS A BIT ROUGH ON IT , IT APPEARS THE FISHING HAS AT LAST STARTED BIG STYLE TEN SPECIES ALL BEIT QUITE SMALL BUT IN THREE HOURS FISHING A REAL TREAT :wink:

Great session lads - I'm not jealous at all.......

You should get some Stuart, I was out last night on the boat and we had seven up to 5lb, and not that far from the marina. Nice shore session you had there.
