Tope fishing Newquay Co Galway

#1 Post by nthclare »

[b]People:Myself and Cian

[b]Duration:2 hours

[b]Tide:Rising

[b]Weather:Same everywhere

[b]Bait:Mackerel

[b]Rigs:Long flowing trace 6 o hooks

[b]Results:Screaming reels

[b]Report:Had a run on the smaller baited hook intended for doggies after around 10 secs the snood gave way, I happened to meet the guy down there who caught the record tope from the shore and he showed me the exact location where the tope run and when and how to catch them its a fairly deep spot but well worth a fishing session so ill be there on and off during the summer hoping to catch a monster..................
