Thinking about coming over from Scotland for a bit of fishing out of Bray.

What sort of fishing is most likely off here?

Cheers

Coming to Bray

Hi David,

In our 2-day boat comp last year some 70 anglers took part with over 3,500 fish caught and returned to the sea as we practice catch & release in all competitions. Species caught included Cod, Pollack, Coalfish, Whiting, Haddock, Wrasse, Dogfish, Dabs, Plaice, Flounder, Bullhuss, Ray, Smoothhound and Tope.
There are some mackeral beginning to show at the moment. When are you planning on coming over? Our 2-day boat comp this year is on bank holiday weekend 5th & 6th August. €80 entry covers both days. 1st prize Seahog Commodore & trailer.

Found a note about your comp, now trying to find out if I can fit it in with the holidays.

Sounds like excellent fishing. I presume it's mostly bait fishing rather than lures?
