Rapala, Roches Point, Cork.

Launched Rapala last night in beautiful conditions and calm seas from Crosshaven with phanover. The harbour was quite busy with numerous yachts hammering round so we headed about a half mile or so to the left of Roches Pt. and fished there. Using light spinning gear, leadheads and jellies we had a couple of macks, a couple of pollack around the 3lb mark and a lovely plump kelp cod just under the 4lb mark. Not a huge return by any manner or means but a beautiful evening to be out all the same and good to have something other then doggies on the deck. Missus permitting we will be out again this afternoon.
