multiplier rod???
when a rod is rung for a multiplier can you use fixed spool as well??

technically its not recommended but as petekd said above unless your going to be casting large distances it shouldnt really matter
im gathering from the other thread that you are starting out, my personal opinion would be that a fixed spool reel would be fine and would give you other options if you plan not just to go beach casting but spining or floating off the rocks

chris consentrate on the fixed spool for now kid and then move up to the multipler cause they are alot more difficult that a fixed spool
