Report:we had originally planned to have our 7th leg master angler at kerrykeel, but the wind was to strong so we used the back up beach at portsalon , which turned out to be very disapointing in fact only six keepers were brought to the scales four of which i caught including the heaviest fish a turbot of 280grams my bag weight was 1kg for for fish johnny gilbert came 2nd with 1 flounder and mathew gilbert came 1st in the juniors with a flounder also ,
after the match myself , johnny dinger and wee matt went back round to the pier at kerrykeel for an hour and i took three dogfish at distance on pulley rigs using mackeral no rays but good sport anyway :wink:
