Summer Fun June...

#1 Post by jd »

Social Events during the Summer...

Jun-06 Belmullet Mayo . roving lure only pairs competition

Jun-06 Rosslare Wexford . tope night

Who is up for these??

Rosslare would need to be a rising tide in the evening...

I'd suspect either

Fri 16 Jun
LW HW LW HW
03:46 10:15 16:15 22:41
0.5 m 1.7 m 0.5 m 1.8 m

or

Sat 17 Jun
LW HW LW HW
04:42 11:05 17:11 23:34
0.5 m 1.7 m 0.5 m 1.8 m

or Two weeks after

Fri 30 Jun
LW HW LW HW
02:29 08:50 14:48 21:13
0.6 m 1.7 m 0.6 m 1.7 m

thoughts

ideas about Mayo Lure fishing?

Unfortunately can't make the 17th, I'm in the States from the 10th - 24th, however will almost certainly give the 30th a bash regardless. Had a recce to the point last month to check it out and it seems very deep and by all accounts the tide race is unreal.

Had a scout around with the binoculars yesterday morning aswell, found some very likely looking reefs no far from Kilmuckridge, it'll be chug bugs and J13's all the way after the bass ban. There was a local there just finished plugging, had no takes and lost a couple of expensive plugs in the kelp, serves him right, fishing for the silver lads during the ban

Guys,

I've just had something come up that I can't squirm out off. I will do my best to get down, I just will be late and might not have enough time to get any fishing in. I would like to get there if even just to say hello. I know there were a few people interested in Friday. Anyone else interested in Friday? I will be leaving the office on Friday and heading straight there. If anyone else fancies meeting up feel free to get in touch.
