I certainly don't mean to cause offence here Richie, but why should he have to prove anything to you, or anyone else, by posting pictures?

Hi

As most members of this formum can attest, Cortaz has the pictures and has caught the fish. Let's not go there again!!!

Thanks people

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

No problem Steve. Some people find it difficult to land one Bass in a year never mind the haul that Cortaz landed in a session, and to land a double figure Bass too, that would be the fish of a lifetime for most anglers,I know if I landed an 11.5lb Bass I'd take a photo of it before I returned it .

Ach, I think we'd all like to see a few pics of double figure bass on here. Mind you, looking at them only makes me green with envy.

Why do I punish myself like this?

Hi Cortaz,

is that Clonea Strand in West Waterford? Never fished it but sounds like a mark to try. Are there any specifics to whereabouts you fish?

Cheers

Kstaff.

hi kstaff
on the coast road between ballyvoile and where the toilets at the east side of clonea are there is a short boreen leading to the sea (shanleys)
fish in front of the gates and down to the broken wall
fishes well in small surf state of tide unimportant
also very good to spin near the wall.

There's an offer you can't refuse, Richie. Well, I wouldn't. Well, maybe. It's a hell of a drive from Donegal....
