Deck paint

#1 Post by pete »

Hi,
In my naiveity last year I painted the inside of the orkney with gloss. It was blindingly white but didn't last long when the season got underway as it kept chipping away. With this in mind does anybody know a paint that is a bit more suited? Cheers.

try using either one part or two part MARINE paint, dulux just does not last
if its for the deck then either buy propper deck paint (best) or mix dry silver sand with ordinary MARINE paint (cheap).

You can purchase a 2 pack epoxy paint from motor factors. It is cheaper to purchase it in a truck or tractor version. If your spraying it make sure you use a proper thinners and that the surface is warm.
