Cunnigar 17.04.06

#1 Post by MAC »

People: Me and the Bro in Law AL

Duration: 15:30 to 20:30

Tide: HW @ about 20:00

Weather: Very windy to start NNE I think. Calmed a bit for the last hour

Bait: Lug

Rigs: light tackle with 2 - 3oz leads and Running ledgers

Results: 1 GHSB for AL. Blank for me

Report:

With Art's reports ringing in my ears I decided to make the trek to Cunnigar. We arrived at about 13:00 and had a bit of lunch and started to dig for some Lug. Lug were very hard to come by and those we found tended to be very deep. After about an hour we had enough bait for a session. We made the long walk to the water and started to fish. Al caught a nice Guilt Head Sea Bream on the first cast. Fish was a nice size, about 1.25lbs or so. Gave a nice fight on the light tackle. I though this was going to be a bumper session but that was our lot. Not even a bite for the rest of the session. Nice to see the GHSB been caught though.

Finally got the picture off the mobile phone.
