Cheap alternative to blades

#1 Post by Lenny »

Don't know if this has been posted before, but I'll put it up anyway. Instead of paying for blades or dismanteling old spinners, use plastic spoons from canteens or coffee shops. Break off the handel section, trim off and pierce spoon on both ends with hot pin. This can slide onto your line along with beads and sequencs.

i have tried this before Lenny but found the blades don't spin! where did you put the hole in the 'blade'? a permanent marker is ideal for putting spots or stripes onto the blade for spicing things up.

I put one hole either end of the spoon and thread the line trough both hole.
