Undersized Bass
I was night fishing last night incoming until 12 I believe, i am deciding to change hook sizes because of the amount of hooks i have to snip i swear its one in three i snip to save the fish. I didn't realise how big of a deal it is to take a undersized fish this one was about 35cm schoolie. I just cant watch them float around it feels wasteful i know its not right but i didn't know then i only google this morning about the way people feel on the law. I took it home for my mam shes been asking me for weeks for a fish and i just thought it would be a nice thing to do the fish died of a gut hook into his left gill and i could see the barb i thought i could get it out but no. Im changing to a 3/0 circle hook for a less chance. Sorry about this it wont happen again believe me i don't want to lose my gear

Re: Undersized Bass
There are lots of videos on YouTube to show how to remove the hook from a deep hooked Bass or flounder, you also need a good quality disgorger or forceps. I would recommend learning these methods.
