I just moved to Dunfanaghy during the Winter and I've been researching place to shore fish. My background is in game fishing. I've only ever done sea fishing from a boat so I'm a complete novice with respect to shore fishing.
Two places I just cant seem to figure out how to get to are Doros Point and Breaghy Head. Does anyone who lives in the area know how to get to either of those? I walked down to the end Tra Mor and whilst it seems possible to scramble up onto Doris Point it looks difficult with fishing gear in tow. I went down to PortNaBlagh harbour but it doesnt seem possible to get onto the shoreline to walk up to Breaghy Head.
Any help would be appreciated. Oh, and I'm only going to do a bit of lure fishing to get started.
