Shore fishing in February

#1 Post by Deleted User 13105 »

Hi all. I’m new to sea angling but I’m dying to get out and do some shore fishing. Am I wasting my time even trying in February? If not what could I expect to catch? I live in Co.Clare if that matters. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely not wasting your time. flats to be had off beaches, white fish off the rocks, huss dogs in the estuary. The fish are still there just catches maybe not as many or as good a size as sept.oct. time

There's always fish. Species change on some spots depending on season. You have to adjust on those.
