Anyone going to be around Bunbeg Gortahork at Easter

#1 Post by marlin »

i`m going to be up at my house in this area at easter.I want to give the elbow at magherorarty strand a go.I have been looking at it on a satelite image and it looks fishy. The tides at easter are HW 7pm onwards,so early morning or evenings look best.If any one knows better I would appreciate the info

Well said HC these beaches are virtually unfished, there are no worm life- guards  feel free to drown as many as you want. Seriously though a few bodies would be good. There should be no problem with bait as the back lough is full of lug, easy to get at at low water!

Very easy at low water....plenty from donegal would reckon we should have more interest...everythng in our favour bar the weather...id imagine when the weather is bad in this part of the world its almost unfishable in places
