Antrim beach
havent been out in a while but the opportunity arose for me to wet a line and I took it. low water at the beach was at 9.30pm but i got there and had bait in the water for 11pm. there was bites from the off on the smaller baits as i was getting attacked by pin whiting. The crabs just stripped the bigger baits meant for the very rare cod. I was using a Variety of baits, black lug, squid, mussels, razors and sandeel but the only bites where coming on sandeel. I tried different combos of baits but it was just straight sandeel that attracted the whiting, the highlight of the night was a big doggie, which put a decent bend in the rod. I packed up at 3am as tiredness was setting in and it was an hour and half drive home. It was great to get out and I hope I will be able to post another report sooner rather than later.

Re: Antrim beach
If you have to catch a doggie, might as well make it a BIG ONE!
