Greystones Mulditch Breeches

#1 Post by keem »

Two of us headed out to mulditch and tried for macks for bait for Tope. Lots of scad with the macks . Got enough and went down to Breeches and tried couple of marks . Had 1 run and fish dropped the bait while I was reeling in other rod. 7 hours and three rods set up for tope with only the one run. Few doggies and a small red gurnard.2nd trip out there and very disappointing
Next time going to try Carlingford.
Too many lures ... not enough time...

That's disappointing, and I know all too well what that's like! At least you managed to get some bait without too much difficulty and scad can be very good bait. Be interested to hear how you get on if you make it to Carlingford.
