Headed down on Friday to fish the end of the rising tide (arrived 2 hours before high) and fished an hour of the drop.
Big expectations were had with the cold snap but unfortunately nothing major to report. Two rods fishing, one rod with large squid baits on a pennel rig fished at every distance but nothing put a few small taps. On the second rod, lug and sandeel were fished again at all distances and just whiting appearing
Alas, will be back out on the weekend to try and get a bloody codling for the species list!!!!
