01.01.2023.Dodds rocks.

#1 Post by Daz »

First day of the new year.I was looking true the window on rainy morning and trying to convince myself- if i get out today for some fishing, it would be encouraging start of the year.As the trip wasn't really planned I had to investigate freezer for the bite situation.2 handfuls crab ,some stinky squid, sandeels and 3.5 frozen lug. That'll do.Packed my things and shouted stupid old question joke to my wife - " you want some big fish, if I catch one?".Didn't wait for a annoyed answer and left the house.I never bring anything home anyways even of the unexpected success.arrived Dodds rocks half hour before sunset.busy enough spot for this time a year.few fishermen, dog walkers and selfie makers for the album- Mary with the sea.Mary, the cocker spaniel and the sea .Just Mary.etc and etc.3-4 hours session resulted frozen fingers, 5 cups of tea, whiting, dabs, flounders and dogs.unfortunately nothing unexpected.all together 12-15 fish. Not awful amount of fish but at least they where all small. :D . Tight lines and Happy New Year.
