Berkley DEX Longshot 14cm Lure

#1 Post by Gonzo »

Name: Berkley DEX Longshot 14cm Lure
Colours: Mackerel, Wagasaki, Cotton Candy
Price: €12.50

Review: I bought this lure in Henrys on a whim as it looked good and was cheap enough, I have to say this was a good purchase, normally I fish with shamrock feedshallows but this new lure casts so much farther as it has a magnet inside that slides to the back on cast then resets when it hits the water for the correct action. I've tried all of the colours listed above and they all work well as I've had bass on every one of them, the wagasaki has been the most productive for me though.

Agree about the Shamrock version of the feed shallows. The action on them is good but they really are a poor casting lure. The original Feed Shallow was no bullet by any stretch but the Shamrock ones are even worse to cast
