Skerries Mackerel

#1 Post by Liamwh93 »

Took a spin out around the south side of st. Patrick’s island this morning, little choppy and a bit of rain/mist. Plenty of mackerel pulled up and plenty of pollack but only 2 keepers. Nice day out, think we left with 30-40 mackerel between us.
Entries now open for the Henry's Tackle Shop All Ireland Shore Smooth Hound Championships on July 18h hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

We did yeah thanks for the heads up!! we hit a few spots with absolutely nothing biting and others where we were getting hits before the line even hit the bottom  one area we stopped at was 2/3 pollock each every drop, they all went back though probably no more than 1-2 pounders.
