Greystones South. Minor success

#1 Post by Lenny »

Fished Greystones south beach Tue 13th from about 12 noon tho 19:00. High tide was 18:30. Three small dabs were had. Two were about 4" and the other was about 8". Two of them fell to rag and lug combo at no more than 20 yards out and the other was partial to mussel out at about the 80 yard mark. Some other lads were out on the beach. Too far up to see how they were doing. Was it you and how did you get on?

Forgot to mention that the wishbone rig with size 4 hooks was the only one that worked. All three fish caught on this rig.

From my own experiance late Autumn early winter seems to be the best time to fish this beach.
