Fishing Slaney esturary and sea in Wexford

#1 Post by Saul »

I am a beginner angler and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fish preferibly from Killurin bridge to Ferrycarrig.(At Ferrycarrig would be very nice to get advice on Flounder and mullet)
Also i would like to know the best beaches for a chance to practice and catch fish,I considered Duncannon harbour, St Helens pier, Kilmore Quay, Slade,Widgeons rest and Carne pier & beach.

Thank you if anyone replies. :D

Hi,
Best way to learn locally would be to join a local club and over the year you will meet anglers that know the areas and fish the best beaches. Also ask in local tackle shop.
Some great fishing in the Wexford area
