Looking into deadbait fishing for pike need to get a rod and reel could some one recommended any types?

10ft 3lb test curve for small lakes and rivers the fox rage boat rod is nice and 12ft 3.25lb test curve for large lakes, budget brand like Shakespeare sigma works just fine.
Catch, release, reminisce & repeat
