fished a mark in the wilds of connemara on sunday. bait: sandeel, frozen black lug. got about 15 whiting all about 8-10'', 2 dab, best an even pound, 1 small thornback ray and the first plaice of the year at 32cms and about 20-25 doggies, but who counts them..don't mind them dublin/wicklow beaches.... head west!!!!!!

sounds bloody great jakes! nice variety. fished wexford over the weekend and i have to say coming back to dublin breaks my heart....

Galway has always only been about fly and pike fishing but the sea fishing is very unexplored so well done for taking up the challenge.
