FTP,
I've fished poolbeg one the regular this year, with decent results. On the 'River' side I've had plenty of whiting, pouting and even the odd hering on a rag worm dropshot.
However, on the opposite side, I've had no luck other than dogs. I would usually use a pully with a rag & mack combo. Constantly seeing guys beside me catching smoothies, and even the odd small bull huss every now and again.
I'd love to catch a smoothie here so any advice would be great.
Tight lines!

Re: Poolbeg lighthouse
I've had smoothies on the south side back towards the half moon swimming club. Saves the bit of a walk!
