North Dublin 12.08.2021

#1 Post by Gonzo »

When: 12/08/2021
Where: North Dublin
Who: Myself
Duration: 20:30-23:00
Low Water: 20:40
Equipment: 9ft Spinning rod
My Bait: Shamrock Bass Attack Shallow Feed 128mm Charteuse Ghost
Conditions: Calm night
Result: 1 Bass

I've been out pretty much every day the last week trying for bass, the low tides are only starting to line up with dusk now and I managed to get one this evening, so I'd say there's a good chance of getting more over the next few nights! There's nothing like catching bass on a lure, I'm totally addicted :D

Ah I think I'm still in the lead but only by a little bit, still have to get out and try some mini bashing, and we're gonna try for gurnards on the next boat trip! :D

Brilliant stuff, haven’t the chance to get out much myself lately. I’ll have to make some time and get the lure rod out.

Ragworm head on size 6 hook dropped into the weedy areas at any of your rock marks should get ya scorpionfish of blennys.
