New to here. Only started lure fishimg in the last 12months and thinking of trying crosshaven area. Any folks here have any advice for the area?

Welcome along. If it's bass you're fishing for, lure fishing marks are very tightly guarded, so they are unlikely to be revealed openly.
That said, you are in a good general area and you certainly won't be wasting your time. One type of place to try would be a shallow reef that gets covered up as the tide comes in. It is the type of thing where you will need to put in a good bit of time because the different marks will fish better at different stages of the tides, day/night etc.

Shallow weedy with a run of tide ,these are the areas to target ,I’m sure some lads would take their bass locations to the grave
