Killybegs

#1 Post by Its Ofishal »

Managed a good day out off Killybegs . Only out in the bay and got into some very nice size mack for both the freezer (which I found to be not working when I got home, so I`ll be looking for another freebie chest freezer) and a bit of fresh bait for whatever. So trolled a couple of bays and by the end of the day myself and a buddy managed a few nice ray, turbot, flounder and the usual load of dogfish thrown in, so all in all a really good day. The intention was to head out deeper for a few Whiting and Haddock but a bit too choppy on the day.
Entries now open for the Henry's Tackle Shop All Ireland Shore Smooth Hound Championships on July 18h hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Great to get out!
The weather is playing havoc at the moment.
