Duncannon Dab and Dogs

#1 Post by Rod Tips »

First time in a while since I was able to make a short report. Due to the restrictions I have been confined to Dublin Bay, which becoming more barren each season.

Anyway I had frozen mackerel and squid and freshly dug lugworm. I caught one Dab and two doggies. All taken on mackerel strip.

I was hoping for an early smoothound but I think it's a little early for this particular spot.

Great to get out. Heading to Baginbun in the morning for a few casts.

Nice one G - think it's definitely early on this side, I'm thinking the likes of Baginbun would surely be a good shout for hounds about now. No freshwater to worry about!
Good luck!
