Bray and Greystones

Duration:

4 hours in each spot

Tide:
Ebbings


Weather:
Clear

Bait:
Rag, frozen black lug, prawns, sandeels, squid

Rigs:

3 hook boom rig and 2 hook flapper
Results:

Results: doggies, rockling, whiting, dabs

The usual suspects in Bray. Loads of small whiting a few doggies. The rockling showed up after HW. The crabs were a pest as usual.

Greystones was much the same. Some of the whiting were of an ok size. I got some dabs close in on the boom rig. The weed was pretty horrific though and I had to pack up earlier than I wanted

Nice fishing! thinking I might head down that way soon myself!

Nice fishing! Think your whiting may be a poor cod or pouting?
