Bullock harbour rocks

#1 Post by Thompst111 »

Just wondering if anyone has fished the rocks behind bullock harbour for cod in the winter. Looks like a good spot. What kind of ground would I be fishing on to

had a decent codling there close to 5lb. floatfishing for wrasse in late summer when i was a kid. had the odd red cod nearby fishing into the rocky ground. there are a few codling to be had all around that area and if you fish rough ground tactics with all the usual baits you could get a few decent fish.good potential if you dont mind losing a few leads.

Thanks pal. Gonna make a few spare leads and rotten bottoms before I head out anyway. I'll be fishing low tide so hopefully still works out for me

The ground is scruffy enough, have had a codling there scratching but not targeted them properly. It definitely should throw them up though with the appropriate baits.
