Morriscastle

I'm heading to morriscastle for a week starting Aug 8
Does anyone know how it is fishing and also where bait would be available nearby

Hi Ken we fished there last week. It hasn't been fishing well this year so far. In says that we had a few small flounder dab and dogs and as high water approached we got some smoothies to 6lb. No bass though which is odd for there last summer we had 39 bass in one session! U can get rag crab mack squid and sandeel in the shop in ballygarret. Good luck

Think the bass are coming back there after the August holiday [emoji846]

Hahaha hopefully! Off to the beara in a few hours gonna be non stop fishing for 4 days!

Fished behind the house.
Where the lifeguard hut is
Caught 5 tiny smoothound and 2 dogfish. There was a few other rods further down the beach and they packed up early so I presume they did no better.
Does anyone know a better mark along this stretch
